News of the World, The Ransom of Mercy Carter, and The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses, the three Greenwich Reads Together 2017 book selections, all explore aspects of Native American culture. Please join us for this presentation by the Bruce Museum, which will shed light on the shelter, transportation, food, games, and ceremonies of the Native Americans of Southwestern Connecticut, including those who lived in the area now known as Greenwich. This is a hands-on program-- through an examination of replica artifacts, participants will be able to characterize the relationship between the Woodland Indians and their surrounding environment.
