Upcoming Event: STRAWS - A Film by Linda Booker, With Narration by Tim Robbins, Saturday, September 29th, 2018, at 2:00 PM, Radcliffe Library Program Room, Perrot Memorial Library

In proud partnership with the Greenwich Conservation Commission, Greenwich Recycling Advisory Board, and BYO Greenwich, Perrot Library welcomes you to support the Greenwich Skip the Straw campaign with a screening of the award-winning documentary Straws. Every day in the United States, millions of non-recyclable plastic straws are used once and tossed, ending up in landfulls and incinerators, littering streets and polluting waterways and beaches. Actor Tim Robbins narrates a colorful history of straw use, and marine researchers, citizen activists, and business owners discuss how they're making a sea of change...one plastic straw at a time.
