I don't know where to put my thoughts about Hugo Cabret so I'm going to put them here. I thought the sotry wasn't predictable at all. I wouldn't have guessed the "suprising" ending at all. The pictures really helped me visualize Paris and the automaton. I probably would be really confused about the automaton without the pictures because I didn't know what they were, before the book. Read this book. It is good.
